Proventys is developing a suite of software-based predictive tests, delivered through Proventys PDx Oncology™, to help clinicians individualize treatment decisions for patients with breast, colon, lung and other cancer types.

The first version of PDx Oncology includes the FN PDx™, a predictive test to assess a patient’s risk of febrile neutropenia (FN), a serious complication of chemotherapy. FN PDx is under review by the FDA (de novo) and is not currently available for sale in the U.S.

A suite of predictive tests

Proventys is developing additional software-based predictive tests that could be used by clinicians as “supportive care” tools to assess patients’ individualized risk of other chemotherapy-induced complications and help generate better outcomes.

PDx Oncology functions as a web-based application and can be accessed through an EMR or other point-of-care system to facilitate use within the clinical workflow. PDx Oncology may also collect data to inform the development and validation of future PDx models as treatment protocols evolve and predictive factors change.
