Proventys is working closely with payers to gain coverage and reimbursement for the FN PDx™ and other software-based predictive tests that are made available through the Proventys PDx Oncology™ system (upon receiving FDA clearance). Each PDx is designed to help clinicians optimize treatment decisions, and in some cases, suggesting whether or not a given therapeutic intervention is appropriate for a patient based on individual characteristics.

In the case of the FN PDx, Proventys has developed a Clinical-Economic Impact Model to demonstrate the potential benefits of guiding appropriate use of prophylactic treatment to reduce a patient’s risk of febrile neutropenia (and related hospitalization and mortality).
