Proventys technology is driven by two major contributors in design and development; our investment in usability and our commitment to strong systems architecture.

Product development at Proventys is driven by a process of User Centered Design (UCD) in which we work closely with the people who will be using our products to clearly understand their motivations and behaviors. This information is then synthesized to create a meaningful and valuable user experience. We use continous testing and integration to deliver features that provide the most value to our customers and perform more formalized usability testing to ensure our products are safe and effective.

Systems development at Proventys relies on the most modern of technologies. The foundation of which is a robust Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Using this architecture will allow Proventys to deploy numerous solutions across many types of user interfaces; from seamless integration with EMRs to web based systems. To ensure quality every step of the way, our product design and development process follows a rigorous course of software validation within a formal Quality Systems framework.

Proventys PDx System™

The company’s proprietary predictive medicine platform, the Proventys PDx System™, is designed to deliver personalized, predictive tests and other solutions at the point of care. The system functions as a standalone, Web-2.0 browser-based application or can be integrated with an EMR or other IT platform to facilitate use by physicians and their care teams.

As a platform, the Proventys PDx System™ incorporates validated statistical models that can leverage clinical data and biomarkers to quantify a patient’s risk of developing a disease condition or adverse event, or predict the probability of response to a given therapy.  Risk scores and assessments generated by a predictive test can be reviewed by a physician along with relevant evidence-based guidelines, to help make appropriate treatment decisions for the patient.

The Proventys PDx System™ also is capable of collecting data at the point of care to inform the development and validation of future statistical models as treatment protocols evolve and predictive factors change.

Proventys received a 2008 Innovation Award from Frost & Sullivan for its development of the Proventys PDx System™.
